When the clients decided to subdivide their existing property in Mapua, this site became available and a two storey design was deemed the best option for working within the compact parameters of the space.

Complementing the existing 100-year old cottage situated at the front of the section, the design of the property was key and the sloping site called for a two level layout on the ground floor.

With the clients only recently returned from living in England, both the design and decor have a decidedly English influence, such as the clever use of wallpaper feature walls and a complementing palette of paint colours on remaining interior, all of this blending in well with the pastel blue exterior.
